Hobson Moor is an old favuorite of the Club, and it was certainly a busy crag this evening. As well as the club members there was a number of other climbers at the quarry making for a busy but friendly atmostphere. The sun was shining when most of us arrived, making the quarry floor lovely and warm, but the wind blowing over the top of the crag made belaying a chilly event.
All the old favourites got climbed - Parker's Eliminate, Crew's Route, The Harp, Epitaph Corner, Foghorn Groove. Jared made a special effort on Dragon Route and several others had a go on top rope afterwards.
As the sun went down the evening got decidedly chilly and we decamped to the Waggon and Horses. We found Dan there, he hadn't been at Hobby but had been bouldering on the shiny white stuff at Water-cum-Jolly, but called in at the pub on his way home. Lucie timed Henry's evening walk to pop in at the crag, and later at the pub where Henry enjoyed hoovering up all the crumbs he could find on the floor.

Meet Promo:
Forecast is looking excellent. I should be at the crag by 5:30, possibly a bit earlier. Bouldering and trad to suit all.
