Underground in the Picos and Pyrenees
We are delighted that KMC members are invited to the Rucksack Club slideshow series hosted at Summit Up.
Tuesday 2 February 7:30pm: Under the Mountain – Ade Pedley and other Rucksackers
Join Ade and other Rucksackers for some major underground adventures as they share tales of two caving trips to the Pyrenees and Cantabria in northern Spain. Cave expeditions include Pierce saint Martin in the Pyrenees (in 2025), and the Cueto to Coventosa through trip in Cantabria (in 2026) amongst a few others
FREE ENTRY FOR ALL – Also streaming live on Zoom and available later on catch up.
The venue for all this entertainment is Summit Up Climbing Wall in Oldham so why not get there early and get in a few routes?
These shows are OPEN TO ALL and FREE to everyone (apart from the BritRock event), regardless of whether you are a Rucksack Club or KMC member or not. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm with voluntary donations and a raffle in support of a different climbing related charity at each event. Note the earlier start time of 7pm for the BritRock screening on 3 December.
If you like your slideshow accompanied with a little refreshment, you can bring your own booze, and the Summit Up cafe will be serving brews, cakes and pizza before the show.
If you can’t make it in person, the shows (apart from Brit Rock) will also all be on Zoom so you can enjoy them from the comfort of your sofa.
