Camped, climbed, swam, Birketted, scrambled, sunbathed, got mithered by midges and lost DW for a short time on the fells in the dark.
Turner Hall Farm is a great venue. The nearest petrol station open on a Sunday evening is at Newby Bridge.

Camping! Climbing! River Swimming! The SW Lakes beckon with this highly recommended campsite. Bring your midge repellent and some cash for the pub, it's 10 minutes away from Turner Hall Farm, Seathwaite. Signposted on the left on the Seathwaite road after the Wrynose Pass. £6/night per adult + £1 /tent +£1 /car. Hot showers, £1 for4 mins. Plenty of room, just rock up and pay in the morning.
