Dear all,

The Christmas Bash (Sat 13th Dec) will be a communal effort this year, with input into the dinner from Ann, Cathy (Gordon), Christine, Jo, Laura, Michelle, Mary, Philippa, Sheena, Sue, Trish, Al, Dave (Shotton) & Mark.  Jo will be kitchen commandant to co-ordinate activities on the day (& she may be looking for volunteers to decorate or set tables.......) The order of play will be;

After Dark     Mulled wine, mince pies & entertainment including the infamous Quiz

7.30                Dinner

10.30              The Peoples Republic of Disco (see below)

Cost; £5 per person, or whatever contribution you may wish to make (anything left over goes to mountain rescue)

Please let Colin know if you plan to come and if you would like meat or veggie food (preferably before 29th nov so the chefs can plan).

This is a good opportunity to share photos from the year - (esp for those who were in the Alps).  Bring your collection and a pendrive to pick up copies of others.....

Music will be provided by YOU: yes, YOU!!

This year, control of those DJ decks will be shared - and power returns to the people!

To become a comrade at the Peoples Republic please bring the three tracks which, in your judgement, are most likley to fill the dancefloor with KMC revellers.......Ideally burn these onto a single audio CD, or you can bring the 3 original CD's, noting track numbers on stickers on the cases. If you only do digital, then please bring it on any MP3 player organised as a playlist. Andy and assistants will weave your choices into a seamless night of cheesy pop, bad disco, obscure indie, weird cover versions, banging house and one hit wonders........
