After realising quite how scary the upper section of Almscliff crag is (this is Yorkshire you know), a hasty retreat to the easier and nicer area of the Low man was ordered by the meet leader. Here, despite the heat and warmth of this amazing summer day (one of only a handful we have seen this year) lots of climbing was done, including multiple ascents of Stew Pot, Pinnacle Flake Climb and V Chimney and Traverse.

An amazing summer's day with some great routes - what more can you ask for from a KMC meet?

Will be heading to Almscliff for this year's meet. With a short walk in and lots of routes to choose from, it seems like a great choice. Hoping to arrive about 10.30, meeting at Great Western buttress. Hope to see lots of people there.
